People are more familiar with the concept of recycling. The concept of upcycling offers a valuable contribution to ecology.

The “Upcycling Exhibition” brought together art and design enthusiasts at Kalyon Kültür, located in the historic Taş Konak in Nişantaşı. The exhibition included 20 selected works from professional architects and designers, who transformed iconic local objects, construction materials and barely-used items into usable goods.

Marking the first step of the “Upcycling Project,” which will lead future generations to use existing raw materials sparingly, think before throwing away, and utilize rather than waste, the exhibition will reach art and design enthusiasts across Turkey with a wider selection of products.
